Erik M. Mathiesen

Erik M. Mathiesen is the current Chairman at Aqualung Carbon Capture. Prior to this, they were a Founding Partner and CEO at Storm Capital Management Ltd from June 2006 to February 2017. Their investment management and family office focused on the energy, shipping, and real estate industries. In January 2018, Erik became an advisor and board member for various companies, including BoD Polarcus ASA, Segulah PE funds, StormCapital, Bember, Meraker Brug, Carnegie, Newocean, and Aqualung. Prior to this, they were a partner at EC Hambro Rabben & Partners from June 1998 to June 2006 where they worked in investment banking and M&A. From August 1995 to June 1998, Erik worked as an executive at Hambros Bank Ltd in banking and investment banking.

Erik M. Mathiesen received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The University of Edinburgh.
