Rich Andrews

Rich Andrews has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rich currently holds the position of VP Software Development at Aquanta Inc, where they are responsible for the software aspects of Aquanta's IoT water heater controller. Their duties range from implementation to devops and managing partner integration for utility demand response programs.

Prior to their current role, Rich Andrews served as the CTO at Nextility from 2010 to 2015. During their time there, they played a crucial role in the startup's successful growth, developing technology and IP for product lines. Rich also oversaw the development of monitoring and energy revenue infrastructure and managed hardware vendor integration. Rich Andrews was also involved in various other areas such as distributed M2M, cloud deployment and operations, and corporate IT.

Before joining Nextility, Rich Andrews worked at GridPoint, Inc. as the Director of Software Engineering from 2005 to 2009. Rich was responsible for product software development and played a key role in supporting the company's funding efforts.

Rich Andrews also has experience as the President of Rich Andrews Software, Inc., where they provided consultative services and project-oriented software development. Rich achieved notable revenue growth for the company and received recognition for best practices in Mobile & Wireless in 2006.

In addition to their work experience, Rich Andrews has held leadership positions at Postgraphy, LLC and Viaduct Technologies, Inc. Rich was the Managing Partner at Postgraphy, LLC from 2001 to 2007, and served as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Viaduct Technologies, Inc. from 1998 to 2001.
