Carlos Rodrigues has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Project Manager at AGS, SA until 2007. Carlos then joined GESWATER - AGUAS E RESIDUOS SA, where they served as the Technical and Commercial Director from 2008 to 2010. After that, Carlos held the position of Manager at Spheraa - Produção de Energia Lda from 2014 to 2015. Carlos also worked at AdC - Águas de Cascais, S.A. as a Member of the Board from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, Carlos became a Member of the Board at Ecotejo - Serviços de Manutenção do Tejo Atlântico, A.C.E. and LUSÁGUA LISBOA SA. Carlos additionally acquired the role of Specialist Sanitary Engineering at Ordem dos Engenheiros in 2018. From 2019 to the present, they are a Member Of The Board at Argo ACE. Carlos also served as the General Manager / Executive Director / Water Utilities Director - Solutions and Services at Luságua - Serviços Ambientais, S.A. starting in 2010 until the current date. Recently, they joined Aquapor Serviços, S.A. in 2023 as the CCO - Chief Commercial Officer Saur Portugal. Carlos has gained extensive experience in various sectors including water, waste, energy, and environmental solutions, and has taken on roles involving strategic planning, business development, project management, and leadership positions within different organizations.

Carlos Rodrigues has an extensive education history. Carlos began their academic journey in 2000 at Universidade do Minho, where they pursued a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering. Carlos completed their undergraduate studies in 2005.

In 2008, Carlos enrolled in Universidade Católica Portuguesa and obtained a Master's degree in Service Management, which they completed in 2010.

After a few years, they decided to pursue further studies and attended ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management. In 2015, Carlos earned a Master's degree in Management Control and Corporate Finance.

Seeking advanced knowledge in their field, Carlos undertook Advanced Studies at Universidade do Minho in Chemical and Biological Engineering from 2016 to 2017.

In 2022, Carlos further enhanced their skills by completing a course in Design Thinking at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

Continuing their academic journey, Carlos is currently engaged in a Doctoral Program in Environmental and Sustainability Studies at NOVA School of Science and Technology, specializing in Environmental and Sustainability Engineering. Carlos is expected to complete this program in 2023.

Carlos has also obtained an additional certification in Aerobic Granular Sludge Technology for Wastewater Treatment from Technische Universiteit Delft in July 2022.
