Joerg Hess

Joerg Hess is the current Chief Operating Officer at Aquaporin. Joerg has held this position since June of 2019. Prior to their current role, Hess served as the Executive VP and General Manager at AZ ARMATUREN from August 2015 to June 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the company's overall strategy and operations.

Hess has also served as an Executive Manager at GiMA consult Gesellschaft für integriertes Management mbH from February 2014 to July 2015. In this role, they oversaw the company's technology operations, specifically in the area of water treatment. Hess also spent three years as the VP and GM of Water Filtration at MANN+HUMMEL GmbH from November 2010 to December 2013. In this role, they were responsible for the company's water filtration products and operations.

Prior to their roles in executive management, Hess served as the Director of Operations at Siemens Water Technologies from January 2007 to October 2010. In this role, they were responsible for the company's overall operations. Hess also spent a year as Senior Manager - Business Excellence at Siemens from January 2005 to December 2006. In this role, they were responsible for improving the company's business processes.

Hess began their career as a Project Manager Sales & MBA Student at Telefónica Germany from January 2001 to December 2004. In this role, they managed sales projects and also pursued their MBA degree. Joerg then spent five years as General Manager Commercial at RWT Water Technologies from January 1995 to December 2000. In this role, they were responsible for the company's commercial operations.

Joerg Hess has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Marketing from the European School of Business, Reutlingen. Joerg also has a Master of Science (Dipl. Ing.) in Civil Engineering from the Technical University Stuttgart. Joerg is certified by Siemens Management Consulting in Lean Manufacturing and by ASQ in Six Sigma Black Belt. Joerg is also a certified Project Manager by the International Project Management Association (IPMA).

Their manager is Peter Holme Jensen, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Dorthe Møller - Head of QEHS, Brett Holmberg - Vice President of RO Membrane Product Development, and John Friis Nielsen - Production Manager.
