Andreas Olesen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Andreas started their career in 2007 as a Konstabel in the Danish Army, serving in this role for one year. In 2008, they transitioned to Deloitte, where they worked as an Auditor for three years. During their time at Deloitte, Andreas focused on international and national audit engagements, and they also took on a leadership role within their engagement teams.

In 2011, Andreas joined the Carlsberg Group as a Consolidation Specialist. Here, they were responsible for the consolidation of the group's financial reporting and controlled the internal and external reporting. Andreas held this position for seven years.

In 2018, Andreas joined Aquaporin A/S as the Head of Group Controlling. In this role, they managed the financial controlling of the company and played a key role in its financial decisions and strategic planning. In 2020, they were promoted to Vice President Finance, indicating their continued growth and success within the company.

In addition to their formal education, Andreas has obtained additional certifications. In 2012, they obtained their Jagttegn from Naturstyrelsen, and in 2009, they acquired an Open water diver certification from PADI.
