Koen Verweyen

Koen Verweyen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Koen is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Aquarius Spectrum since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Aliaxis where they held various positions. From June 2020 to January 2023, they were the Director of New Business Development Digital Solutions, responsible for driving global digital business opportunities and developing partnerships and capabilities for digital product solutions and services. From July 2018 to June 2020, they served as the Director of Strategy & Innovation at Aliaxis. Before joining Aliaxis, Koen worked at TE Connectivity from 2003 to 2014. During this time, they held roles such as Sr. Manager Innovation, Senior Manager Program Management Office, and Program Office Manager R&D. Before that, they worked at Punch Graphix as the R&D Manager Opto-Electronics and at Oce Technologies as a Hardware developer. Their work experience is characterized by leadership, strategy development, innovation management, and business development.

Koen Verweyen has a diverse education history. In 1990, they enrolled at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool and earned a degree in Electronics in 1995. Simultaneously, they pursued a Master of Science in Electronic System Design from the same institution. Following this, in 1995-1996, they attended Leeds Beckett University and completed a Master of Science in Electronic System Design.

More recently, in 2019, Koen attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for a short period where they studied Internet of Things: Business Implications and Opportunities. Koen obtained a certification in this field from the school in August 2019.
