Touraj Farahmand is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and technology, serving as Co-founder and Principal Data Scientist at Aquatic Informatics since January 2003. Farahmand has held various leadership roles, including Head of Product Design and Development, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Science Officer during their tenure at the company. Previous roles include Research Engineer Consultant at GuideTech and Senior R&D Engineer at Vector12 Corp., along with positions at the University of British Columbia and IUT Electrical & Computer Engineering Research Center. Farahmand's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
