CPA John Orapa has a wealth of experience in finance and administration, having held various senior roles in reputable organizations such as Aquaya, Africa YES Centre, and TopNotch Holdings Co, Ltd. CPA John is currently serving as the Senior Finance Manager at Aquaya. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from United States International University - Africa and a CPA qualification from Strathmore University. CPA John is currently pursuing an MSc in International Development from The University of Edinburgh and an MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi.

The Aquaya Institute is a non-profit research and consulting organization. We deliver knowledge and tools to help achieve universal access to safe water. Aquaya strengthens public and private delivery of clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) access in developing countries by combining cutting edge research with strategic consulting. Founded in 2005 by two PhD scientists, Aquaya’s goal is to bridge the divide between academic research and field implementation of measures that expand access to safe drinking water. We provide our clients and partners with in-depth knowledge and experience across a range of disciplines from water quality monitoring to consumer research to impact evaluation.
