Monicah Ngima is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operational support and project management across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Operations Assistant at Aquaya since June 2022, Monicah oversees IT and data security compliance, program development and evaluation, contract management, and policy adherence on a global scale. Prior experience includes roles as Program Coordinator at AIG, where Monicah planned and implemented operational projects, as well as positions at the United Nations Office at Nairobi and Kenya Dairy Board, focusing on inventory management and IT support. Monicah holds a Bachelor's degree and a Diploma in Business and Information Technology from Strathmore University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation at Daystar University.

The Aquaya Institute is a non-profit research and consulting organization. We deliver knowledge and tools to help achieve universal access to safe water. Aquaya strengthens public and private delivery of clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) access in developing countries by combining cutting edge research with strategic consulting. Founded in 2005 by two PhD scientists, Aquaya’s goal is to bridge the divide between academic research and field implementation of measures that expand access to safe drinking water. We provide our clients and partners with in-depth knowledge and experience across a range of disciplines from water quality monitoring to consumer research to impact evaluation.
