Larry Barels has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Larry started in 1983 as the CEO-Founder of Wavefront Technologies, where the company developed software for 3D animation. Under their leadership, Wavefront became a pioneer in the field and their product, Maya, is still widely used today. In 1996, Larry became the Chairman of the Board at Software.com, where they oversaw the development and distribution of the first carrier grade internet email product. Larry later joined Driveway Software as Chairman of the Board, where the company provided data storage and mobile data access services. Larry then co-founded Catalyst Mobile in 2002, serving as Chairman of the Board, and the company developed a rich user interface for phone companies in Asia. In 2000, Larry became the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Co-Founder of Aqueos Corporation, a subsea service provider offering marine construction, commercial diving, and vessel contracting services. Currently, Larry is the CEO of Pacific Capital Resources, a personal holding company with investments in various private equity positions and real estate developments.
