Scott McCain

Scott McCain has been working in the engineering field since 2009. Scott began their career as an Optical Engineer at Applied Quantum Technologies, where they managed and performed R&D contracts in the area of computational imaging, designing and building prototype multi-spectral, multi-aperture, and multi-scale imaging systems. In 2012, they became the Founder, CTO, and Director of Engineering at Aqueti. Currently, they are a Product Engineering Manager at Align Technology, a position they have held since 2021.

Scott McCain received their BS/MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1996 and 2001. Scott then went on to pursue a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Duke University, which they completed in 2007.
