Simon Taylor

Simon Taylor is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in air traffic management and aerospace services. Currently serving as the Chief Delivery Officer at Aquila Air Traffic Management Services since May 2024, Simon previously held the position of Chief Services Officer at AALTO HAPS and Airbus Defence and Space. At Airbus, Simon led the Zephyr Programme, overseeing high altitude platform operations and played pivotal roles in various managerial capacities, including Head of Industrial Policy and Capital Investment for Space Systems. With a robust background dating back to their tenure at the Ministry of Defence, Simon has consistently demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering, process management, and transformation initiatives across leading aerospace organizations. Simon's academic credentials include a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Highbury College.
