Alexander Fischer

Alexander Fischer is an experienced professional in solar engineering and project management, currently serving as Solar Engineering Manager APAC at Aquila Clean Energy APAC since July 2022. In this role, Alexander oversees the engineering and execution of standalone and colocated solar PV projects, supports local development teams, evaluates project opportunities, and coordinates construction and commissioning activities. Prior to this, Alexander held positions including Lead Project Engineer at solarZero, where responsibilities encompassed large-scale PV project delivery and regulatory compliance, and Project Management at Vector Powersmart and Envire Solar AG, focusing on installation, logistics, and O&M of solar plants. Alexander began the career in quality management at S.O.L.I.D. GmbH, monitoring and maintaining large-scale solar thermal plants. Alexander holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering & Business Economics from Technische Universität Graz.
