Ali Sina Rahimi currently serves as Risk Manager and Information Security Officer at Aquila Capital since April 2023. Prior to this role, Ali held various positions at Nomura, including Head of Operational Risk and Deputy Information Security Officer, as well as Head of Operational Risk, Vice President. Ali's earlier experience includes a tenure at Deutsche Bank, where responsibilities ranged from Assistant Vice President overseeing Global Coordinator Investment & Insurance Products to a focus on Risk Analytics and project management. With a foundation in operational risk management started through internships at Deutsche Bank and PhotoBox, Ali also has experience in military training with the German Armed Forces. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Quantitative Finance from Kiel University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg, alongside recent certifications in ICT management and non-financial risk management.
