Dr. Johannes Böske has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Dr. Johannes is currently serving as the Head of Group Controlling & Tax at Aquila Capital since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Controlling Offshore Global at RWE Renewables from July 2020 to December 2021. Dr. Johannes was also the Managing Director at innogy Wind Onshore Deutschland GmbH from April 2019 to July 2020.
Before joining innogy Wind Onshore Deutschland GmbH, Dr. Böske worked at innogy SE as the Head of Onshore Wind Controlling from June 2013 to July 2020. Dr. Johannes gained valuable experience in offshore asset and joint venture management as the Head of Offshore Asset & Joint Venture Management at RWE Innogy GmbH from January 2011 to May 2013. Additionally, they held the position of Executive Support Manager at RWE Innogy GmbH from April 2009 to December 2010.
Dr. Böske began their career as an International Graduate at RWE Innogy GmbH, where they worked from October 2007 to March 2009. Dr. Johannes also gained research experience as a Research Assistant/Associate at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster from October 2003 to September 2007.
Dr. Johannes Böske attended the University of Münster from 1998 to 2007, where they obtained a Diplom Volkswirt und Dr. rer. pol. (Master and PhD) in Economics.
