Marcos Domínguez

Marcos Domínguez has a diverse work experience in the energy and trading sectors. Marcos is currently serving as the Director of Power Markets | Iberia at Aquila Capital since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Trading at Alcanzia Energía from September 2017 to December 2018. Marcos also served as the Lead Power Trader at ElectroRoute from July 2015 to July 2017. Marcos started their career in 2007 at Iberdrola, where they held roles such as Responsible for European Power Derivatives Trading from July 2011 to June 2015 and Power Trader from August 2007 to June 2011. Before entering the energy industry, Marcos worked as an Analyst at Accenture from October 2005 to July 2006.

Marcos Domínguez, CFA, CAd, holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, which they obtained from 2000 to 2005. In 2006 to 2007, they pursued a Master's degree in Management and Administration of Energetic Enterprises at Instituto Superior de la Energía in collaboration with IESE Business School. In 2008, they completed the Advance Program in Quantitative and Technical Analysis at the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles. Marcos also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in 2011, and the Certified Advisor (CAd) certification from CNMV in 2018.
