Ozer Ergul has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Ozer is currently the Group Head of Procurement | CPO at Aquila Capital. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at SolarPower Europe, including Chair of the Supply Chain Sustainability Workstream and Vice Chair of the Supply Chain Transparency Workgroup. Ozer also served as a Sustainable Procurement Ambassador at The Sustainable Procurement Pledge.

Earlier in their career, Ergul worked as the Group Chief Procurement Officer at Lightsource bp and as the Group Vice President of Supply Chain Management at ABB. Ozer has experience in global procurement and sourcing strategies, transforming regional SCM organizations, and developing cost estimation tools for renewable energy projects.

Before transitioning to the renewable energy sector, Ergul held management positions at SunEdison, LM Wind Power, AREVA T&D, Toyota Motor Europe, and Valeo. Their responsibilities included sourcing, procurement, supplier development, and logistics management.

Overall, Ergul has a diverse background in procurement and supply chain management, including both technical and strategic roles in the renewable energy and automotive industries.

Ozer Ergul completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi/Middle East Technical University in 1991. Ozer then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the same university between 1991 and 1993. In 1996, Ozer attended INSEAD for the Executive Development Programme CEDEP. Currently, they are studying Sustainable Supply Chain Management at the University of Cambridge, with an expected completion year of 2021. Ozer has additional certifications in Product Certification from monday.com, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Lean Methods Group, CIPS from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, CPSM from the Institute for Supply Management, CSCP from APICS, and Principles of Persuasion from INFLUENCE AT WORK.
