Don Kobetsky

CTO at Aquilon

Don Kobetsky is the current Chief Technical Officer at Aquilon. Prior to their current position, Kobetsky served as the Director of Enterprise Computing at Equitec Group from 2000 to 2012. In this role, they reported directly to the CEO and was responsible for managing the firm's technology infrastructure, information systems, data centers, and network. Kobetsky oversaw a high-availability, fault tolerant technology infrastructure that supported the firm's proprietary trading strategies, including fully-redundant, low-latency data feeds and order routing.

Previously, Kobetsky was the Senior Director of Regulatory and Staff Systems at CME Group from 1995 to 2000. In this role, they managed 24 staff members who provided applications development and support to 15+ Exchange departments that comprised the core business support infrastructure of the Exchange. Areas included Finance, Purchasing, Accounting, Memberships, Regulatory, Electronic Trading Registration, Broker Billing and Clearing Fees.

Kobetsky has extensive experience in managing technology infrastructures and teams. Don has a proven track record of overseeing complex systems and ensuring their smooth operation. Under Kobetsky's leadership, Aquilon's technology infrastructure is in good hands.

Don Kobetsky received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago.
