Amy Dunham Strand has a rich academic history, starting as a Graduate Instructor at the University of Washington in 1998. Amy Dunham later worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati from 2003 to 2005. Moving on to Aquinas College, they were an Adjunct Assistant Professor from 2006 to 2013. Amy then took on multiple roles at Aquinas College, including Director, Jane Hibbard Idema Women's Studies Center and Director and Assistant Professor of Women's Studies. Amy Dunham Strand completed their Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Wittenberg University in 1992. Amy Dunham then went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in English Language and Literature from the University of Washington in 2003.
