Pratap Thapa

Pratap Thapa is the CEO and founder of aQysta, a company that creates innovative water management solutions. Pratap has also worked as a graduate intern at BoP Innovation Center, a teaching assistant at TU Delft, and a lecturer at Kathmandu University.

Pratap Thapa has always been interested in finding ways to improve water management. This led him to create aQysta, which creates innovative water management solutions that are affordable and easy to use. aQysta’s products are designed to help people in the developing world access clean water.

Pratap Thapa’s work has been recognized by the Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO), which awarded him the 16th APQO International Conference on Quality Award in 2011.

Pratap Thapa has a Master of Science from Delft University of Technology, a Bachelor of Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, and an Intermediate of Science from Tribhuvan University, St. Xavier's College.
