Edwin Vizcarra is a seasoned petroleum engineer with significant expertise in reservoir engineering, having held various key positions in multiple reputable companies. Currently, Edwin serves as the Development Team Lead at ARA Petroleum LLC, overseeing a team of geologists and engineers in the development of small fields in Oman, with a focus on achieving substantial production targets through simulation modeling and reserves booking. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Reservoir Engineer at Qatar Petroleum, where responsibilities encompassed leading subsurface teams and coordinating integrated reservoir models for offshore fields, and similar positions at Shell, Enap Sipetrol S.A., Petrobras, and Repsol, where Edwin specialized in forecasting, simulation modeling, and risk analysis for diverse reservoirs. Edwin holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Escuela Politécnica Nacional.
