Thomas Meijssen

Thomas Meijssen is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Development Manager for the Farha SW oil field at ARA Petroleum LLC since February 2024. Previously, Thomas has held various leadership and consulting roles, including Chief Executive Officer at Consult 2050 and Appraisal and Development Consultant at ARA Petroleum, where responsibilities included developing plans for new discoveries and reviewing project portfolios. With a strong background in reservoir engineering and business strategy, Thomas's extensive experience spans over three decades across multiple companies, including Shell and Petroleum Development Oman, where significant contributions to oil field development and regulatory frameworks were made. Thomas holds an MBA in Business Administration and an MSc in Physics from the University of Twente.
