Dia Jwainat, LLMSW, is an experienced clinical therapist currently employed at America's Community Council since October 2021. Previous roles include serving as a behavioral therapist at Behavioral Health Works, Inc., and a clinical therapist and case manager at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. Additionally, Dia has experience as an academic coach at California State University - East Bay, a school social worker with the San Lorenzo Unified School District, and as a program assistant for the City of Hayward. Earlier positions include working as a college mentor at Hayward Promise Neighborhoods and a community health developer at California State University - East Bay. Dia holds a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University - East Bay, as well as a high school diploma from Hayward High School.
