Nida R. Samona is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the judicial system and public service. Currently serving as a Prosecutor at Wayne County Prosecutor's Office since 2019 and as a self-employed Attorney since May 2018, Nida also holds the position of Operations Director for a non-profit social service agency in Southeastern Michigan. Previous roles include Senior Executive Projects Manager for Wayne County, where Nida represented the Executive Office and liaised with various departments, and Chairperson of the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. Nida's earlier career highlights include serving as a State Prosecutor for Macomb County, specializing in sex crimes. Nida earned a Juris Doctor from Detroit College of Law (MSU Law) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and English from Marygrove College.
