Ammar Salih

Ammar Salih serves as the Head of the Treasury, Financial Institutions, and Capital Markets Department at Arab Bank, where responsibilities include overseeing dealing room activities, managing bank liquidity, and directing the Treasury Division budget. Previously, Ammar held the position of Assistant Head in the same department, executing foreign exchange deals and supervising Treasury staff to ensure financial compliance. Ammar's banking experience also includes roles as a Senior Treasury Officer at Aljazeera Sudanese Jordanian Bank, where daily exchange rates were approved, and as a Treasury Officer at Sudanese Egyptian Bank, focusing on monitoring exchange rates and managing financial balances. Early in the career, Ammar worked as a Customer Service Officer and Junior Accountant, gaining a strong foundation in customer service and financial record-keeping. Ammar holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Khartoum.
