Bassam Abdelkader

Bassam Abdelkader, MSc, ACI has a diverse work experience in the field of finance. Bassam is currently serving as the Chief Trader at Arab Bank since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank as a Money Markets & Funding - Treasury professional from August 2019 to August 2020. Bassam also excelled in their role as the FX & Money Markets Manager at Union National Bank from August 2015 to July 2019. Before joining Union National Bank, Bassam worked as an FX & Treasury Sales professional at Ahli United Bank from August 2013 to July 2015. Bassam began their career as a Treasury Trader, focusing on FX & Money Markets at Piraeus Bank from January 2008 to September 2012.

Bassam Abdelkader, MSc, ACI completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business/Commerce, General at Cairo University from 2002 to 2007. In 2008, they obtained an ACI Dealing Certificate from The Financial Markets Association. Bassam then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in International Finance at EADA Business School from 2012 to 2013.
