Mohamed Abo-Bakr, MBA, PMP, CMMI5, has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Mohamed began their career in 1998 as a Software Developer at ASSET, where they were responsible for designing and developing large-scale products using Visual Basic and Oracle.
In 2000, Mohamed joined EDS Hungary as an IT Professional, where they customized banking requirements using RPG on the AS/400 platform. Mohamed then moved on to ITSOFT in 2001, where they worked as a Project Software Manager and System Analyst, responsible for project management activities and ensuring compliance with CMMI 5 processes.
Mohamed continued their career at Intercom in 2004 as a Projects Manager, overseeing multiple projects. Mohamed then joined Giza Systems as an Enterprise Operational Manager and Banking Projects Manager, responsible for project management and operational improvement.
In 2006, Mohamed joined ITS as a Banking Program Manager and Operational Improvement Manager, handling various ITS projects. Mohamed then transitioned to E-finance in 2014, where they served as the Senior Manager and Head of Quality Governance & Work Procedures Sector, responsible for establishing quality governance and implementing work procedures.
In 2016, Mohamed joined Arab Investment Bank of Egypt (AIBK) as the Chief Delivery Officer, leading the delivery departments of the IT departmental sector, including PMO, Change Management, Quality Assurance, and Testing. Mohamed also performed planning, organizing, and controlling activities for the IT delivery departmental sector.
Currently, Mohamed is the Chief Delivery Officer and Head of IT Audit at Arab Investment Bank, responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and controlling all internal audit activities.

Mohamed Abo-Bakr has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Digital control from Ain Shams University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1998. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from IBSS. Mohamed attended IBSS from 2014 to 2016. In March 2016, they completed their MBA from The International Business School of Scandinavia IBSS.
