Aygün Budak

Aygün Aydin is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Meta since April 2021, Aygün focuses on enhancing user data security and managing its flow in a vast data ecosystem. Previously, as Chief Technology Officer at fable+ until March 2021, Aygün led technology initiatives that facilitated the company's acquisition by Accenture. Aygün's career at Turkcell spanned over a decade, holding various leadership roles including Head of Engineering for Digital Services, where Aygün oversaw the maintenance and innovation of services serving 50 million users, and Software Engineering Manager for Terminal & Data Services, which involved extensive coaching and support for engineering teams. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Doğuş University, a Master’s from Boğaziçi University, and additional studies at Harvard Business School.
