Hugh Smith Fcoi

Hugh Smith FCOI has extensive work experience in the corporate brokering and compliance field. Hugh is currently the Head of Quality and Product Governance at Arachas Corporate Brokers Ltd since March 2023. Previously, they held various positions at Frank Glennon Ltd, including Associate Director - HR & Compliance from January 2020, Manager - HR & Compliance from February 2005 to January 2020, and HR Manager from February 2005 to September 2011.

Hugh Smith FCOI has a diverse educational background. Hugh obtained their MSc Compliance degree in Financial Services from the University College Dublin between 2013 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Professional Diploma in Compliance from ACOI in 2012 and 2013. In 2010, they pursued a DIP PMI degree in Private Medical Insurance from the Insurance Institute of Ireland. Hugh also holds an MA HRM degree in Human Resources Management from Dublin Business School, which they obtained between 2007 and 2010. Additionally, in 2006, they completed a CIP degree in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of Ireland. Hugh also briefly studied Human Resources at Technological University Dublin in 2006, where they completed a CIPD course.
