George Bladon

George Bladon is an experienced professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as Corporate Business Manager and previously as Corporate Account Manager at ARAG Legal Services UK since February 2013. Bladon focuses on developing new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with insurers, MGAs, and corporate clients, with a commitment to promoting legal expenses insurance and related services. Prior to this, from January 2002 to December 2012, Bladon was Sales Manager at 80e, where significant contributions were made to grow the sales division from inception to over £25 million in net written premiums. Additionally, Bladon served as Account Manager at Conditional Fee Insurance Services, playing a key role in establishing a new after-the-event insurance trading division and developing products for the ATE insurance market. Bladon began a career as a Senior Claims Handler at DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company in May 1988. Education includes a Fellowship from the Chartered Insurance Institute, obtained between 1993 and 2014, and earlier studies at Avonhurst in Bristol from 1982 to 1987.
