Matthias Paul Peitz

Matthias Paul Peitz currently serves as Abteilungsreferent Internationale Bilanzierung & Konzern | VP International & Group Accounting at ARAG since October 2023. Prior to this role, Matthias was a Senior Manager in Business Development at EY ifb from December 2022 to September 2023, and a Managing Consultant at ifb SE from November 2021 to December 2022. Matthias has extensive experience in accounting advisory, having worked as a Manager at BDO Germany from April 2019 to October 2021 and at PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH WPG from September 2012 to March 2019. Early in the career, Matthias gained experience in risk management at DEVK Versicherungen and completed a dual education program in Insurance and Finance while at Cologne University of Applied Sciences. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Auditing from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Insurance from Cologne University of Applied Sciences.
