Uwe Grünewald

Uwe Gruenewald is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as the Group Chief Accounting and Tax Officer at ARAG since September 2013. Prior experience includes a tenure as Director at Deloitte AG from October 2007 to August 2013, where Uwe provided support in IFRS and US GAAP, finance transformation, and regulatory reporting, among other areas. Uwe also held the position of Head of Consolidation at Winterthur Group Germany from February 2004 to September 2007, and served as Head of Accounting at Zurich Financial Services from February 1998 to February 2004. Uwe began a career in finance as an Assistant at KPMG Audit from January 1997 to February 1998. Uwe Gruenewald earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Insurance Business from Cologne University of Applied Sciences between 1996 and 1998.
