Abigail Charpentier

SVP & CHRO at Aramark

Abigail Charpentier leads wide-ranging human resources functions across Aramark’s global operations, and is responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, labor relations, Board matters, and other issues that affect the company’s 270,000 employees.

Abigail, who joined Aramark immediately after earning a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, has held a variety of HR and operations roles at the company for more than two decades. Just before becoming the company’s Chief Human Resources Officer in January 2023, Abigail was Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Diversity for Aramark’s U.S. Food and Facilities businesses. From 2018 to 2021, she was Vice President of People and Culture at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, responsible for 50 hotels across North America, South America, and the Caribbean.

Abigail has a reputation for leading transformation across Aramark’s lines of business, including Destinations, Facilities Management, Sports & Entertainment, Corrections, Student Nutrition, Collegiate Hospitality, Healthcare+, and the Workplace Experience Group. In her view, HR is a business enabler and should always support overall company growth while building high-performing teams. She is committed to engaging employees, developing talent strategy, and driving a people-first culture.
