Jim Tarangelo

SVP & CFO at Aramark

Jim Tarangelo became Aramark’s CFO in January 2024, leading the company’s financial operations, including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Auditing, Financial Planning, Investor Relations, Risk Management, and Strategy. His current role comes after 20 years of exceptional leadership and advancement within Aramark.

Jim most recently served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer, with responsibility for Global Treasury, Corporate Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Tax. He served as the company’s lead in executing the 2023 spin-off of Aramark’s uniforms business.

Under Jim’s leadership, Aramark made two of its largest acquisitions; the global purchasing leader Avendra, and one of the largest uniforms companies, AmeriPride.

From 2014 to 2016, Jim was the CFO of Aramark International, with financial oversight for operations across 18 countries. He also served as Vice President for Global Financial Planning and Analysis, CFO of Aramark Latin America, and Associate Vice President of International Finance.

Before joining Aramark, Jim worked with Legg Mason’s investment banking group and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He has an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Lafayette College.
