Ankur Barua

Ankur Barua is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in piping design and project management within the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Principal Piping Engineer at Aramco Overseas Company since August 2022, Ankur is involved in major crude increment programs and is responsible for ensuring compliance with engineering standards and deliverables. Ankur's prior roles include a Senior Piping Design Consultant at Technip Energies, a Senior Piping Designer at Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals, and a Senior Piping Engineer at Fluor, having worked on significant projects across various countries. In earlier positions, Ankur held a managerial role at Siemens Energy, overseeing engineering teams for power projects, and began a career at Reliance Industries Ltd, contributing to major refinery projects. Ankur Barua holds an MSc in Power Plant Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Gauhati University.
