Ralph Wetzels serves as the Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Aramco’s global Downstream business, overseeing operations in over 50 countries with significant refining and chemicals production capacities. Prior to this role, Ralph held various senior finance positions at Shell for nearly 26 years, including Executive Vice President Finance for Upstream operations, where leadership extended over a large finance team and significant cash flow generation. Ralph's extensive experience includes roles in both conventional and retail finance sectors, managing multi-billion dollar budgets and complex finance operations globally. Ralph's educational background encompasses advanced degrees in Finance Economics and Tax Law, as well as executive leadership courses from prestigious institutions including INSEAD and IMD.
