Simon Stewart

Simon Stewart is an accomplished Principal Scientist at Saudi Aramco since July 2012, specializing in prospect generation, well operations, and exploration leadership. Prior to this role, Simon served as Head of the Petroleum Engineering Institute at Heriot-Watt University from January 2009 to June 2012, where full P&L responsibility was managed. Simon's earlier experience includes a geologist position at BP from September 2000 to December 2008, where contributions were made in well planning and geoscience support for various fields. Additionally, Simon worked as a geophysicist at Hess Corporation from September 1992 to August 2000, focusing on seismic interpretation. Academic credentials include a PhD in Geology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Geology from the University of Dundee.
