Tariq Almubarak

Tariq Almubarak, PhD, is a seasoned research scientist with extensive expertise in production technology and advanced materials at Aramco since September 2012. Tariq's diverse experience includes serving as an instructor in formation damage and acidizing, co-founding Aggietropicals, and co-developing an automated referencing platform with ME-Labco. Prior experience includes roles as a gas reservoir engineer in both offshore and unconventional fields and a hydraulic fracturing field engineer at Schlumberger. Tariq also contributed as an online instructor at GEC Academy, focusing on project-based courses in petroleum engineering for Chinese students. Educational credentials include a PhD, MSc, and B.S., all in petroleum engineering, from Texas A&M University, where Tariq graduated Summa Cum Laude.
