Michele Rastelli has worked in various roles since 2008. Michele began their career as a University Internship at DIEI, Faculty of Engineering, University of L'Aquila in 2008. Michele then worked as a Software Engineer at BusOnAir in 2011, followed by Software Engineer and CTO at Jamgle in 2012. In 2015, they worked as a Backend Software Engineer at K.lab educmedia GmbH and in 2016 they were Cofounder & CTO at vAudience GmbH. Most recently, they have been working as a Java Engineer at ArangoDB since 2019.

Michele Rastelli received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Automatic Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of L'Aquila in 2009. Michele then went on to complete a Master's degree in Computer Science and Automatic Engineering from the same institution in 2012. In 2004-2005, Michele completed a Socrates/Erasmus Scholarship at the University of Lisbon - Faculty of Sciences. Additionally, Michele has obtained a number of certifications, including Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in December 2014, Programming Cloud Services for Android Handheld Systems from Coursera in September 2014, and Bioinformatics Algorithms (Part 1) from Coursera in February 2014.
