Katie Kothenbeutel is an experienced librarian and entrepreneur currently serving as the Career Services Librarian at Arapahoe Libraries since May 2018, where responsibilities include educating individuals on career development and conducting outreach with local organizations. Additionally, Katie owns Grow Your Dreams Coaching LLC, providing career advancement coaching, and operates a home bakery, Big Buns Bakery, and LadyBeetles LLC. Previous positions include Reference Librarian, Library Associate at the City of Englewood, and Adjunct Instructor at Marshalltown Community College, where Katie specialized in Russian history and language. Educational qualifications include multiple master's degrees in Russian Translation and Library & Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as well as a B.A. in Russian and German from the University of Northern Iowa.

Arapahoe Libraries
The Arapahoe Library District was established in April 1966 to provide public library service to all residents of Arapahoe County, except those living in the cities of Littleton, Englewood and Aurora. Residents of these cities are served by libraries established prior to 1966 that are funded and maintained by their respective city governments.
