Luis Fernando Pérez

Luis Fernando Pérez has extensive work experience in the field of data analytics and project management. Luis Fernando currently holds the position of Head of Data & Analytics at ARAUCO since October 2018. Prior to this, they worked as the Jefe de Proyectos BI at ARAUCO from October 2016 to September 2018.

Before joining ARAUCO, Perez worked at gA as a Líder from June 2014 to September 2016. During their time at gA, they achieved substantial growth in project portfolios for clients and successfully completed projects such as Control de Gastos de Administración and Migración SAP BW a HANA on Cloud.

Pérez also worked at Intellego BI as Jefe de Proyectos / Consultor Senior SAP BW-BO from April 2011 to June 2014. Luis Fernando played a key role in the successful completion of over 20 projects, including the improvement of the Presupuesto Corporativo de Gastos de Administración y Venta.

Their early career experience includes roles at MAESTRO HOME CENTER S.A., where they worked as an Analista de Desarrollo de Personal y Soluciones SAP from June 2010 to March 2011. Luis Fernando also served as an Asistente de Capacitación and an Asistente de Personal during their time at the company, where they achieved notable improvements in processes and created efficient tools for data analysis and scheduling.

Throughout their career, Pérez has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of various SAP systems, data analysis, and project management methodologies.

Luis Fernando Pérez obtained a certification in Data Strategy and Governance from IE Business School in 2021. In 2013, they completed a diploma in Project Management from Universidad Diego Portales. Luis Fernando holds a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad de Lima, which they achieved between 2004 and 2009, with a focus on Information Technology.
