Rolando Riveros has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. Rolando worked as a Consultor Funcional at Kr Consulting from August 2010 to October 2012. In 2011, they also worked at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez as an Ayudante de Tecnologías de Información and Ayudante de Programación.
Rolando joined ARAUCO in August 2012 as an Ingeniero de Desarrollo de Tecnologías Financieras y Planificador Financiero. In this role, they were responsible for supporting and improving financial technologies and projects in the company's Corporate area. Rolando also had responsibilities in financial planning, performance management of business units, investment control, project evaluation, and generating corporate reports.
Later, Rolando became an Ingeniero de Estudios at ARAUCO in July 2014, where they managed the administration, control, and review of the company's international project portfolio and conducted project studies. Rolando then transitioned to the role of Jefe Gestión Riesgo Crédito from March 2015 to October 2016.
From November 2016 to October 2020, Rolando served as a Finance Manager at ARAUCO, where they led and supervised the operations of the company's treasury desk. Rolando maintained relationships with banks, ensured payment compliance through currency buying and selling, projected cash flow, maximized short-term investment profitability, and managed short and long-term financing. Rolando also supported internal and external audits and handled significant transactions such as bond issuances and credit disbursements.
Most recently, Rolando holds the position of Director of Treasury Operations at ARAUCO since October 2020, where they continue to oversee treasury operations and manages various financial responsibilities.
Rolando Riveros obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2018. Additionally, they completed a Diplomado en Evaluación de Decisiones Estratégicas, focusing on Técnicas de toma de decisiones, at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2013. Prior to that, Rolando studied at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez from 2006 to 2012, earning a degree in Ingeniería Civil Industrial, specializing in TI, Finanzas, Evaluación de Proyectos, and Operaciones.
