Connie B. has a wealth of experience in the events and meetings industry. Connie began their career in 2002 as an Intern with the American Gem Society, where they directly supported the Meeting Planner and assisted with the planning and coordination of the annual convention. In 2004, Connie moved to the Radisson Hotel Research Triangle Park as a Catering Coordinator, where they were the point of contact for the booking and detailing of small day meetings. In 2006, Connie took on the role of Conference Planning Manager at the Paul J. Rizzo Conference Center / Destination Hotels & Resorts Mgmt. Property, where they planned and managed up to six weekly events of varying scope and length. In 2012, Connie became the Meetings & Events Manager at The Franklin Hotel, where they provided onsite coordination for banquets, dinners and meetings for up to 200 attendees. In 2013, Connie moved to Veolia ES Industrial Services as an Office Administrator, where they provided administrative support to the accounts payable, purchasing and procurement department and served as the single point of contact for vendor questions and invoice processing issues. Finally, in 2014, Connie joined the New Orleans Dental Association as a Meetings & Exhibits Coordinator, where they coordinated the NODA's annual 3-day conference, attended by 2K+ members with 100+ exhibitors and 15-20 speakers. In 2021, Connie began their current role as Client Solutions Administrator with The Arbinger Institute.
Connie B. began their educational journey at Aloha High School from 1993 to 1994. Connie then attended Westview High School from 1994 to 1996, where they earned their High School Degree. In 2000, Connie B. enrolled at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, graduating in 2003 with a Bachelor's of Science in Hotel Administration.
