Luz Rivera's work experience includes various roles in different organizations. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Childcare Worker at the Cumberland Cape Atlantic Y M C A of New Jersey until 2010. In 2002, they joined the Air National Guard as an Aerospace Medical Technician and served until 2014. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Medical Records Technician at Kenner Army Health Clinic. In 2014, they began working at Southside Regional Medical Center as an Emergency Department Technician, a role they held until 2023. Concurrently, they served in the Air Force Reserve Unit as an Aerospace Medical Technician from 2014 to 2023. In 2017, they also worked as a Medical Technician at the US Military Entrance Station. From 2021 to 2023, they served as a Contact Representative in the US Army. Lastly, in 2023, they held the position of Sales Development Representative at The Arbinger Institute and later became an Ambassador at QSciences.
Luz Rivera completed their Associate's degree in Practical Nursing technology from the Community College of the Air Force in 2017. Currently, they are pursuing a degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Grand Canyon University, starting in 2021.
