Fernando Gielow

Fernando Gielow has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Fernando started their career as a MSc student and researcher in the NR2 research group, where they developed a similarity aware clustering protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks. Fernando then moved on to Anest Studio, where they worked as a game designer and developer, creating indie games using Unity3D and C#. Next, they joined Datacom as an embedded system developer. After that, they worked at Bliive as a lead developer, responsible for managing backend and infrastructure tasks. Fernando then joined CO2 Estates Ltd as a system developer before transitioning to Digital Gents, where they served as a lead developer, providing digital solutions to third parties and developing own projects. Currently, Fernando is working at arbnco, initially as a senior developer, then as a software development manager, and currently as the director of software engineering. In their role at arbnco, they are focused on transforming the commercial real estate industry's approach to energy efficiency and carbon reduction improvements.

Fernando Gielow pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Fernando first completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal do Paraná, studying from 2007 to 2010. Fernando then furthered their education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the same university, where they studied from 2011 to 2013.
