Borja Alonso Garcia

Borja Alonso Garcia has worked in the software engineering field since 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they were an Assistant of Research at DeustoTech - Deusto Institute of Technology (Deusto Foundation), where they conducted research and development of software solutions for companies related to security in communications and desktop systems. Projects were completed in Java and C#. From 2011 to 2016, they were an Ingeniero de Software .NET at Turbosoft Aplicaciones Informaticas S.L.U, where they developed software for Windows desktop applications using VB .NET Visual Studio 2008 and 2010. From 2016 to 2018, they were an Analista/Programador Senior .NET at Fihoca, where they were responsible for software architecture/functional analysis (direct contact with clients, requirement gathering, estimation of deadlines, cut-off points). All development was done in Visual Studio 2015 using C# for both frontend (Winforms) and backend (WCF/ASMX). From 2018 to 2022, they are currently a Backend Engineer at Arbolus Technologies.

Borja Alonso Garcia completed their degree in Ingeniería informática from the University of Deusto between 2007 and 2011. Borja also completed a degree in Ingeniería de gestión from the same university between 2003 and 2007. Borja Alonso Garcia has obtained four additional certifications: a Certificado PowerBI Nivel 2 from the Fundae Fundación Estatal para la Formación en el Empleo in July 2021, a Certificado PowerBI Nivel 1 from the same institution in June 2021, a Scrum Manager "Expert Level" from Scrum Manager in June 2017, and an AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure from PUE in January 2021.
