Ashley Stephan

Ashley Stephan has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Ashley is currently the Creative Director at the Arbor Day Foundation, a position they have held since July 2021. Previously, they worked at Swanson Russell for over a decade, starting as a Graphic Design/Creative Intern in February 2008 and progressing through various roles including Production Artist, Graphic Designer, Associate Art Director, Art Director, Senior Art Director, and Associate Creative Director. Their time at Swanson Russell ended in June 2021. In addition to their agency experience, Ashley also served as an Adjunct Professor of Graphic Design and Typography at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2016. Ashley began their career as an Account Planning Intern at Bailey Lauerman in 2007.

Ashley Stephan earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree with a focus on Advertising from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, completing their studies between the years 2004 and 2008.
