Britt Ehlers has extensive work experience in both the nonprofit and legal sectors. Britt served as the Vice President of Development and General Counsel at the Arbor Day Foundation since January 2009. Prior to that, from May 1999 to December 2008, they worked as an Attorney at Rembolt Ludtke LLP.

Britt Ehlers obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in English Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law at Washburn University from 1996 to 1999.
