Cassie LaRocca-Lydia has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Cassie started their career as a Carriage House Host at the Iroquois Hotel Mackinac Island in 1995. Cassie then worked as a Reef Kids Club Activity Coordinator, Palm Court Server, and Trainer at Ocean Reef Club from 1995 to 1999. Afterwards, they served as the Food and Beverage Manager at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club from 1999 to 2002. Cassie continued their career as a Lead Server and Trainer at Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa from 2002 to 2004 and then as a Lead Server at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas from 2004 to 2005. Cassie worked as a Beverage Ambassador at Rio All Suites Hotel & Casino from 2006 to 2009. Cassie then took on the role of Banquet Captain at Kinseth Hotel Corp in 2017, followed by the position of Banquet Manager at Embassy Suites LaVista and Conference Center in 2018. Currently, they are working as a Banquet Event Manager at the Arbor Day Foundation. In their various roles, they have been responsible for operational and financial management, staff training and scheduling, and ensuring the implementation of company standards and policies.

Cassie LaRocca-Lydia obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism Business Human Resources from the University of Phoenix, where they attended from 2012 to 2015.
