Matt Spitsen has extensive experience in content marketing and strategy. Matt started their career as a Marketing Assistant at Firespring in 2008 before becoming the company's Social Media Strategist in 2010. Matt then transitioned to become a Senior Content Marketing Strategist, where they focused on generating leads through content marketing initiatives and revamping the company's brand and messaging.

In 2011, Matt joined Nonprofit Hub as an Associate Director, where they helped nonprofits achieve more through collaboration and education. During their time there, they played a significant role in growing the organization, attracting over 110,000 monthly users to their online magazine.

Matt also worked as a Freelance Writer and Content Strategist, assisting clients with their content marketing efforts and helping them tell their brand stories effectively. Matt worked with clients in Nebraska and the Pacific Northwest, providing services such as website overhauls, white papers, video production, content creation, social media, and voice and tone brand exercises.

Matt later joined Conveyor as a Content Strategist and Brand Storyteller, focusing on helping brands in the Pacific Northwest effectively communicate their stories through various platforms.

Most recently, Matt has been working as a Program Manager at the Arbor Day Foundation. Matt'srole involves growing the Alliance for Community Trees program, which connects community-based organizations that plant and care for trees with corporate partners to achieve sustainability and corporate social responsibility goals.

Throughout their career, Matt has consistently demonstrated expertise in content marketing, brand storytelling, and community engagement.

Matt Spitsen attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a degree in Marketing under the field of study of Business Administration.
